Scandinavian Woodhick Dinner

Experience a meal you’ll never forget inspired by immigrant groups who worked in the Pennsylvania lumber industry. Join our lumber camp cooks as they serve a Scandinavian Woodhick Dinner in the museum Mess Hall. Dine like a lumberjack on:
- Klassick artsoppa—a classic Swedish pea soup
- Svinestek med frukt—pork loin with dried fruit, a traditional dish from Norway
- Roasted potatoes
- Norwegian creamed cabbage
- Egg Custard
- Beverages–Bark peelers’ switchel, camp coffee, and water
Before the meal, work up a sweat trying your hand using a crosscut saw or practicing your aim throwing hatchets. During the meal, be entertained by stories of Pennsylvania’s logging past. Limited seating. Ticket price: $30 non-member/$25 museum member. Pre-purchase of tickets is required.
