Snowshoes Building and Lacing Primer– Nov 2nd, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM
Have you ever been interested in making your own snowshoes or want to know more about what it would take? Explore a few options for starting from scratch or with a kit and then try your hand at lacing after a short talk and demonstration. The program will include examples and several kits you can try out. Co-presented by State Park staffer, Tim Morey, and avid outdoorsman, Doug Firestone. Reservations appreciated but not required. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Program fee is $3 per-person and includes admission to the museum exhibits.
