The Pennsylvania Lumber Museum strives to document the history of logging in the Commonwealth and its effect on the land and impact on society. We maintain a library of archival and research materials related to the topic. Our collections include manuscripts, books, periodicals, journals, maps, photographs and other related documentary items. We accept new donations for the Research Library on an individual basis. If you have a potential donation, please contact us with the details. Our library is open to scholars and researchers by appointment. Please call for more information.
*Please note that the Museum’s Research Library is temporarily unavailable for public use. We have removed and stored the collection due to the impending renovation and expansion of our Visitors Center which will begin in the spring of 2013.
